Job summary

Gateway Rehab Center is seeking a PRN Outpatient Therapist at our North Strabane, PA location. You will deliver evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to support recovery and wellness.

You will develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team while ensuring HIPAA compliance and timely documentation. This role emphasizes compassionate, trauma-informed care within an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical/behavioral health field.
• Experience in outpatient or inpatient settings with dual diagnosis and SUD patients.
• Proficiency with outpatient platforms and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Utilize trauma-informed treatment with evidence-based practices.
• Develop patient treatment plans and measure outcomes with the team.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and revise treatment plans as appropriate.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately within required timeframes.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources for caseloads.
• Coordinate continuing care planning and appropriate referrals.
• Monitor and complete insurance authorizations for patients.
• Provide referrals for additional care and support services as needed.
• Maintain productivity standards and participate in supervision.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements and related regulations.
• Complete orientation and annual trainings; cover for other programs as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize and promote trauma-informed treatment through evidence-based practices.
• Participate in developing patient treatment plans and outcomes in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy based on patient needs.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and revise treatment plans as appropriate.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources associated with assigned caseloads.
• Coordinate continuing care planning and make appropriate referrals.
• Monitor and complete insurance authorizations for assigned patients.
• Provide referrals for additional care and support services as needed.
• Maintain expected productivity standards.
• Participate in regular supervision and seek additional clinical guidance when appropriate.
• Adhere to all HIPAA requirements and confidentiality standards.
• Comply with OMHSAS, DPW, and DDAP regulations and requirements.
• Complete required orientation, annual trainings, and attendance documentation.
• Provide coverage for other programs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and identify substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree with at least one experience in a clinical or behavioral health environment.
• Experience in an outpatient/inpatient setting with dual diagnosis and SUD patients.
• Proficiency in outpatient platforms and digital communication tools.

• Pass a PA Criminal Background Check
• Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances
• Pass Drug Screen
• 2-Step TB Test
• Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
