Outpatient Therapist - Licensed / Sebring, FL / 1379 / LC

The outpatient therapist will be responsible for providing assessment and therapy services for both children and adults and requires an LMHC, LCSW or LMFT license in the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and complete Biopsychosocial evaluations.

• Maintain compliance with the outpatient performance plan, credentials and licensure, and PRC training requirements.
• Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Education:

Master's degree in the field of mental health required.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in the mental health field.

Certifications:

LMHC, LCSW or LMFT required

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understand psychopathology in adults and children as it relates to DSM diagnostic criteria.
• Ability to provide mental health diagnoses using DSM criteria.
• Experience with a variety of therapy modalities, including evidence-based practice approaches.
• Ability to provide treatment for co-occurring disorders or willingness to learn required techniques and interventions.
• High quality written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Timely completion of written documentation in an electronic health record.
• Flexibility and the ability to prioritize various job functions.
• Strong clinical documentation skills.

• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.

Fast-paced work environment. The populations cared for may include patients who are confused, delusional, irrational, agitated, or uncooperative. Noise level is usually moderate. May involve exposure to indoor environmental conditions and potential interactions with patients who may display aggressive behavior.
