Job summary

Fremont Hospital is seeking an experienced Outpatient Therapist to join its multidisciplinary outpatient services team. You will provide individual, group, and family therapies to address a wide range of mental health needs using evidence-based treatments.

You will carry a caseload, facilitate groups, and work under the program manager to sustain clinical excellence and patient satisfaction in a private inpatient setting's outpatient program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology, psychology, or related field.
• Direct clinical experience in a psychiatric, mental health, or comparable setting preferred.
• CA state licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD) or Associate License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients in individual, group, and family formats using evidence-based interventions.
• Carry a caseload, facilitate groups, and conduct individual therapy as part of a multidisciplinary outpatient team.
• Maintain clinical excellence and sustain therapeutic alliance and patient satisfaction.

The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial‑hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.

The Outpatient Therapist will provide therapeutic services to patients in a variety of formats including individual, group, and family therapies to address a range of mental health and emotional needs. The Therapist is a part of the multidisciplinary team of outpatient services reporting to the program manager. They carry a caseload, facilitate groups, and conduct individual therapy using a combination of evidence‑based treatment interventions consistent with research findings, education, training, and experience. They exercise sound judgment and clinical excellence and sustain therapeutic alliance and patient satisfaction.
