Job summary

Chimes is seeking an Outpatient Therapist in Allentown, PA to provide diagnostic assessments and individual, family, and group psychotherapy. The role covers a diverse client base across ages with flexible scheduling and a 30/hour pay rate.

The position requires a Master's degree in a clinical discipline and completion of a clinical practicum, with licensure preferred (LPC/LCSW/LMFT). Applicants must meet state clearance requirements and will work within established treatment plans and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical discipline (i.e., clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work) for mental health therapists.
• Clinical Practicum must be completed.
• Licensure: LPC, LCSW or LMFT preferred.
• Clearances: Pennsylvania Act 33 & 34, FBI clearance; not on Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.
• Additional related experience and/or education may be substituted at the discretion of the Personnel Officer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal clinical assessments of newly admitted clients.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of treatment plans.
• Provide crisis assessment and stabilization services as clinically necessary.
• Provide therapy to individuals, families, and groups as indicated.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including progress notes, plans, and discharge summaries.
• Deliver services in compliance with licensure standards and best practices.
• Maintain relationships with local providers and client support networks.
• Follow agency policy and procedures and report to supervisor.
• Maintain licensure and certification in designated state(s) of service.
