Job summary

Simply Bee Counseling in Vernon Hills, IL seeks a clinician to join our outpatient team serving children, adolescents, and adults. Work independently within a collaborative setting, using CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, EFFT and our Growth and Resiliency Model to guide care.

Four 9-hour shifts weekly, with some Saturdays and evening hours; Sundays closed. Requirements include a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, active licensure or pursuing licensure, experience with eating disorders and youth,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related required.
• License-eligible: PhD, PsyD, MFT, MSW, LSW, or LPC; pursuing licensure per state guidelines.
• Active licensure/registration/certification must be maintained in good standing.
• Experience with eating disorders and with children/adolescents preferred.
• Experience in higher level of care settings (IOP/PHP/residential/hospitals).

Responsibilities

• Create a family engagement plan upon admission for each minor client.
• Complete weekly clinical charting notes on the EMR platform.
• Document initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and prepare discharge summaries.
• Reinforce clinical services and adherence to the practice's standards.
• Lead at least one workshop or group and participate in one volunteer event in the first year.
• Model company culture and collaborate with team members.
• Maintain weekly engagement and discharge trackers for families and clients.
• Participate in staffing meetings and lead treatment staffing for current cases.
• Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets and calendar management.

Established in 2018, Simply Bee Counseling offers outpatient services including counseling, dietitian support, medication management and neuropsychological testing - as well as an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program onsite in their Vernon Hills, IL office. We also offer outpatient therapy in our Northbrook, IL location. We take a comprehensive and inclusive approach to mental wellness serving children (as young as age 5), adolescents, and adults. Our mission is to transform the mental well-being of individuals with the whole person in mind. We see a wide variety of clients who may be struggling with Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, School Refusal, ADHD, Trauma, Self-Injury and more.

Simply Bee is seeking a clinician who is looking for a combination of independent work within a larger collaborative environment. This clinician would serve our outpatient population children, adolescents, and adults. Our team utilizes a variety of evidence based approaches including CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, EFFT, and others, as well as our CEO's own Growth and Resiliency Model(c) to organize our curriculum and support clients.

This is an hourly role with a compensation range of $62,000-80,000/yr. The schedule for this position is four 9-hour shifts per week, often including Saturdays and evening 12 pm-9 pm shifts. Please note the clinic is closed on Sundays.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Create a family engagement plan upon admission for each minor client
• Complete weekly clinical charting notes/forms EMR platform
• Document initial assessments, evaluation and development of treatment plans for clients, preparation of discharge summaries and/or continuing care plan
• Reinforce clinical services and adherence to the practice’s standards, values, and quality of care
• Complete one workshop, group, or other clinical contribution in the first year, as well as one volunteer event
• Exhibit company cultural behaviors of the following: informally collaborate in the office with team members, friendly engagement in the office to support our hive culture, and contribute to the hive mind with knowledge and expertise
• Complete weekly communication tracker for family engagement, all external providers, new clients and discharge client tracker document and chart notes
• Participate in mandatory staffing meetings and lead treatment staffing of current cases
• Complete requested administrative information such as timesheet, calendar management, drive organization, etc.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related required
• License eligible PhD, PsyD, MFT, MSW, LSW, or LPC. Must actively be pursuing licensure within the criteria set by state guidelines.
• Specific, required, current, and active licensure, registration, and/or certification must be maintained in good standing.
• Previous experience with eating disorders and working with children and adolescents strongly preferred
• Previous experience in Higher Level or Care Setting - IOP/PHP/Residential/Hospitals
