The RN delivers direct patient care, coordinates peri-anesthesia activities, educates patients and families, and supports care transitions in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; RN license required.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; ability to adapt to shifts.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Leadership and teaching abilities; willingness to participate in committees.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient peri-anesthesia area.
• Coordinate and deliver peri-anesthesia care in pre-post area.
• Plan, implement, evaluate nursing care; educate patients and families.
• Lead and mentor colleagues; participate in quality improvements.
