Job summary

Florida Medical Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our outpatient/ambulatory care team. You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality nursing care following the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation.

The role includes preparing equipment, assisting during treatments, guiding Nursing Assistants, and may require work beyond regular hours or in other units as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification within 30 Days of Hire.
• Two (2) years experience in acute care nursing.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.
• Good time management skills in fast-paced, stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and collaborates with physicians and healthcare team to provide quality care in outpatient/ambulatory services.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatments and examinations.
• Supervises and instructs Nursing Assistants as needed.
• May work beyond regular hours or in another patient care unit as assigned by department head or nursing supervisor.
