Job summary

Children's of Alabama seeks a Specialty Clinic Nurse for the Alley Immunology and Rheumatology Clinic. This part-time role supports outpatient care, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, approximately 24 hours per week, Day Shift.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and families within the Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology services. Collaboration with physicians and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Alabama (single state or equivalent multi-state options).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Outpatient clinic nursing skills and patient/family education.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for outpatients in a specialty clinic.
• Coordinate care with allergists/immunologists and rheumatologists.
• Document care plans, patient responses, and follow-up needs.
