Job summary

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Services Technician to join our Outpatient Rehab team. This full-time, day-shift position (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm) supports patient care under licensed rehab professionals and maintains a clean, organized rehab area.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma or GED and is BLS certified on start. Experience in a clinical/rehab setting is preferred, with Inova offering comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
• Preferred: Experience in clinical/rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient care areas, equipment, and supplies according to unit policy.
• Assists with patient care under the guidance of a licensed rehab professional while demonstrating essential skill competencies.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and team members in writing and verbally.
• Completes administrative responsibilities in support of the operating unit; may perform additional duties.
