Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a therapy aide to assist licensed therapists in treating patients in an outpatient setting. You will work under supervision to help with routine duties and support a multidisciplinary team to return patients to their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities include assisting therapists, covering multiple locations as needed, maintaining clinic safety and supplies, and transporting patients while upholding compliance and quality care

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0 years of relevant experience required; 0-2 years preferred.
• Within 6 months of hire, obtain BLS/CPR certification.
• Maintains compliance, communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff physical/occupational therapists in treatment of assigned patients.
• Provide cross-coverage of Rehabilitation division locations as needed.
• Support department operations: cleanliness, equipment and supply inventories, and patient transportation.
• Transport patients within the clinic as needed.
• Maintain a welcoming and safe clinic environment and assist with interdepartmental coordination.
