Job summary

Mountainside Treatment Center is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (Per Diem) in New York, NY. The nurse will assess clients, administer Naltrexone and Buprenorphine injections, monitor withdrawal symptoms, and document findings for MD/APRN/Treatment Team to promote safe, effective care.

This per diem role covers 8-16 hours per week and requires NY RN license, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license and BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• Experience with behavioral health and medical populations.
• Experience administering Naltrexone and Buprenorphine injections.

Responsibilities

• Identify client care needs by building rapport.
• Administer Naltrexone and Buprenorphine injections.
• Document interventions in the electronic health record.
• Maintain infection-control practices and safe medication storage.
• Collaborate with treatment team to ensure quality care.
