Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a diagnostic radiology technologist preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and radiographic exposure required.
• Proficiency in radiation protection practices required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and family members with exemplary customer service.
• Operate x-ray equipment and adjust for proper exposure techniques.
• Explain x-ray procedures to patients.
• Position patients for each anatomical view.
• Monitor equipment and assist with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Process images for optimal quality.
• Critique positioning and technical factors.
• Rotate through the on-call schedule with other technologists.
