Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Pulmonologist with Sleep Training to join Lifepoint Health. The role focuses on outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine with a Monday–Friday schedule 8a–5p, including blocks for bronchoscopy and sleep study readings.

Inpatient consult opportunities may arise, with a leadership path to direct the sleep laboratory. Requirements include a completed Sleep fellowship with BC/BE and eligibility for medical practice in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Sleep fellowship BC/BE required.
• Outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine experience preferred.
• Leadership opportunities in sleep lab management available.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient medicine in clinic for pulmonary and sleep patients.
• Schedule 8a–5p with time blocked for bronchoscopy, procedures and sleep studies readings.
• Occasional inpatient pulmonary consults/ICU coverage may occur.
• Lead the sleep lab as director when possible.
