Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia to recruit a full-time pulmonologist for a growing outpatient practice. This role focuses on clinic-based pulmonology, with bronchoscopy services performed in the hospital.

The ideal candidate will join a small team including a board-certified pulmonology and critical care physician and an experienced APP, handling 20–25 patient visits per day in a Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm schedule, with no pulmonology call.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible pulmonologists, including combined pulmonology and critical care training.
• Experience in outpatient clinic pulmonology; bronchoscopy services performed in hospital setting.
• Ability to precept residents and medical students in a teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pulmonology care in a clinic setting, Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm.
• No pulmonology call responsibilities.
• Precept residents and medical students and participate in teaching activities.
