Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Seward, PA is seeking a PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The role requires an active PTA license and outpatient experience is preferred, with indirect supervision as required.

You will provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed PT, implement high-quality therapy, and help maintain positive relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE national PTA exam.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience (preferred).
• Indirect Supervision License Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
