Aegis Therapies is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team in a PRN, up-to-20-hours-per-week capacity at Timber Ridge at Talus. The role focuses on outpatient geriatric care with emphasis on orthopedics, balance, mobility, and fall prevention.

You will build lasting patient relationships in a supportive, non-pressure environment that values clinical judgment and ongoing mentorship. New grads welcome; licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Interest in outpatient physical therapy and geriatric-focused care.
• Passion for helping older adults live active, independent lifestyles.

Responsibilities

• Treat active, engaged seniors in an outpatient setting.
• Focus on orthopedics, balance, mobility, strength, and fall prevention.
• Build long-term therapeutic relationships with patients.
