Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Previous outpatient experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients by guiding therapeutic exercises and modalities per the supervising PT.
• Assist PTs in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, and patient education.
• Document patient progress using the EHR (Raintree) and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
