Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team across our Peoria clinics. You will assist in developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Responsibilities include hands-on therapy, documenting patient progress, educating patients, and coordinating with a network of healthcare professionals. Travel to different clinics is required to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in PTA program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic PT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the physical therapist regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Travel to different clinics and facilities as needed.
