Job summary

Select Medical in Scranton, PA is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists in outpatient physical therapy. This per diem role offers varied hours and compensation ranging from $11.00 to $13.00 per hour, depending on experience.

You will help with rehabilitation procedures, scheduling, records, and center operations, while observing patient responses and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a pre-health profession (biology, rehabilitation sciences, exercise science, etc.).
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
