Job summary

Orlando Health Riverview Outpatient Rehab clinic is seeking a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join a dedicated team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with an emphasis on orthopedics and patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

New graduates are welcome; the team prioritizes quality care, ongoing learning, and strong collaboration. Comprehensive benefits begin on day one for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved PT program.
• Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida; temporary permit acceptable.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering data from the patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and significant others.
• Develops treatment plans with clear goals and objectives aligned with the continuum of care.
• Demonstrates competency in equipment use, care and maintenance, and provides explanations of equipment.
• Treats patients appropriate to the age of the patients on the caseload.
• Re-evaluates and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Ensures documentation and billing are complete and accurate.
• Provides patient/family education as indicated.
