Carolina Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and document progress in a patient-focused environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, insurance providers, and a supportive team.

The ideal candidate holds a CAPTE-accredited PT program degree, SC licensure, CPR certification, and experience or interest in exercise and manual therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state South Carolina license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience or training in exercise, sports rehab and manual-based techniques is preferred.
• Outgoing, energetic personality with strong communication and people skills.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Review physician referrals and medical records to determine required physical therapy.
• Provide direct patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians as needed.
• Develop a plan of care with goals and a comprehensive program to achieve them.
• Implement treatment programs and deliver essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and discharge summaries.
