Job summary

Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes, MN seeks a psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team. The MD will provide behavioral health services to patients across the lifespan, in a professional, patient-centered environment with strong team support.

The role includes outpatient care with possible inpatient/ED consults. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required, and collaboration with a wide care team is expected.

Qualifications

• MD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry.
• ABPP certification preferred, though not required.
• Child/adolescent certification preferred, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services to patients across the lifespan.
• Outpatient focus with potential for rotating inpatient/ED consults.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, NPs, and social workers.
