Locum Tenens.com seeks an on-site adult outpatient psychiatrist in California for day shifts. The provider will perform initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adults with serious mental illness, including co-occurring substance use disorders and housing-related needs.

This full-time locum assignment offers 40 hours weekly with no call and support staff on site to assist clinical operations.

Qualificações

• Board-certified psychiatrist required.
• Experience with adult outpatient psychiatry.
• Experience with co-occurring substance use disorders preferred.
• No call coverage required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for adults.
• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes) and medication management follow-up appointments (30 minutes).
• Manage medications for adults with serious mental illness, including co-occurring substance use and housing-related needs.
• Operate in a day-shift, on-site setting with on-site support staff.
