Job summary

Sanford Health in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, seeks an outpatient BC/BE Psychiatrist to join its Behavioral Health department. The workload is predominantly outpatient (90%) with a smaller inpatient consult component (10%).

The team includes child psychiatry, psychiatric NPs, adult and child psychologists, and therapists; physicians are encouraged to engage in medical education and research to advance patient care, research and education.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist for outpatient care.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred.
• Strong interest in medical education and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care (primarily 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient consults).
• Collaborate with child psychiatry, psychiatric NPs, psychologists, therapists.
• Participate in call schedule (phone calls 1:8).
• Engage in teaching and research initiatives.
