The American Psychiatric Association is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health care across the lifespan at our Mansfield, TX location. The role emphasizes pediatric patients and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

On-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule, offering a competitive salary range, sign-on bonus, and potential performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Demonstrated experience treating pediatric patients, including young children is required.
• Experience with adult populations.
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship or significant pediatric psychiatric experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, with a primary emphasis on pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate closely with pediatricians, primary care providers, and behavioral health team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care coordination.
• Educate patients, parents, and caregivers on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medications.
