Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires GARN licensure in good standing and BLS certification, with a BSN preferred and potential ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials.

Responsibilities include delivering nursing care per orders and acting within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
