Qualifications

• Two years of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner experience or one year as a Psychiatric NP plus three years as a NP in any specialty.
• Must be board-certified to practice.
• Active license in the State of Florida.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
• Administer LAI injections when necessary (infrequent).
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about mental health strategies.
• Document services in accordance with company policies.
