The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide I to provide limited clinical support in a physical therapy/occupational therapy office in Charlottesville. You will assist providers and staff, help maintain a clean, safe clinic, and support patient transfers and equipment upkeep.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED; clinical office experience is preferred; no licensure is required.
The Physical Therapy Aide I is responsible for providing limited clinical support to clinicians in a physical therapy/occupational therapy office. These duties may include: assisting providers and other staff, maintaining clean and safe clinic environment, assisting with patient transfers/guarding, inventory and stocking supplies.
Position Compensation Range: The pay range for this role is $18.01 - $27.92 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
Busy and fast paced outpatient clinical environment.Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
