Job summary

Intermountain Health Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, MT is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to screen, diagnose, and treat injuries and disabilities using standard PT practices. The role supports both outpatient and acute care patients, with a 40-hour week onsite.

The successful candidate will educate patients and caregivers, work with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to restore function and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Active Montana state Physical Therapist licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Develop plans describing a treatment strategy, its purposes, and its anticipated outcome.
• Plan often includes exercise regimens at the clinic and at home to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance.
• May use various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling.
• Determine patients ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.
