Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate referred patients, maximize functional mobility, and promote independent function. You will develop, communicate, coordinate, implement, monitor and revise treatment plans with the goal of maximizing patient capabilities.

The role also provides prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion, and supervises clinical activities of PTAs and non-licensed personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and current NC license (or compact state license).
• BCLS for healthcare providers or completion within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients referred for physical therapy to maximize functional mobility.
• Develops, communicates, coordinates, implements, monitors and revises treatment plans.
• Provides prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion.
• Supervises clinical activities of PTAs and non-licensed personnel.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or higher

Current NC license or licensure from a compact state
