Job summary

Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our mission-driven outpatient rehab team at the Mt Sinai Rehab Hospital location in Hartford.

The Physical Therapist will treat patients with varied diagnoses from neurological to medically complex orthopedic cases, in our outpatient office, collaborating with staff, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current CT license.
• Ability to clearly explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, directs, plans, and treats patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help clients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
• Develops and conducts a variety of techniques and modalities to provide individualized treatment.
• Modifies treatment plans and goals due to changes in client status and capabilities.
• Maintains appropriate communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem solving, program planning and education.
