Qualifications

• State-licensed Physical Therapist in Florida at hire.
• Active BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and practice.
• Plans and provides treatment to assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and practice.
• Coordinates patient care with other clinical team members for optimal treatment and communication.
• Educates patients and caregivers to engage in continuing activities at home.
• Completes all required paperwork reflecting care provided and outcomes.
• Monitors and evaluates outcomes related to assessments and plans of care.
• Maintains knowledge and promotes professional standards in Physical Therapy.
• Monitors the treatment activities of PTAs and aides.
• After one year, may act as student supervisor.
