Job summary

St Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, seeks a full-time Physical Therapist for outpatient services. Work involves 8-hour days with two evenings per week, totaling 40 hours. Responsibilities include supervising PT staff, creating and executing effective treatment plans, and promoting patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates hold a state PT license, BLS, and a bachelor’s degree. Acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State PT license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision for PT assistants, PMR techs, students and volunteers as required.
• Maintains a safe, orderly working environment for patients and staff.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care and provides treatment to meet goals.
• Collaborates with physicians and team members to adjust treatment plans.
• Acts as a patient advocate and supports patient rights.
