Job summary

Southern Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Georgia. This full-time role focuses on orthopedic and sports medicine care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation.

Ideal candidates have a PT degree (Masters or DPT), CPR certification, and at least one year of outpatient experience; new graduates are welcome. We offer medical/dental insurance, generous PTO, holidays, EAP, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• CPR Certification (or will complete upon hire)
• New or recent graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply
• 1+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred
• Strong understanding of biomechanics and functional movements highly valued

Responsibilities

• Assess patient goals and limitations to develop a therapeutic plan of care and therapy timeline
• Carry out therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques addressing patient needs
• Document initial evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries in EMR
• Maintain patient records in accordance with regulations and company policy
• Provide regular updates to patients, physicians and other therapists involved in care
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuum of care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with therapies
