Southern Rehab & Sports Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Columbus, GA. This full-time role provides exceptional care using the latest evidence-based techniques, with collaboration among healthcare professionals to ensure dynamic treatment for our clients.

We welcome new graduates and experienced therapists alike. Candidates should hold a current state license and CPR certification, and be committed to ongoing professional development and community health

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Masters or Doctorate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR Certification (or will complete upon hire).
• New graduates welcome to apply; 1+ years outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient goals and limitations to develop a therapeutic plan of care and therapy timeline.
• Carry out therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques addressing patients' specific needs.
• Document initial evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries using electronic medical records.
• Maintain patient records in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
• Provide regular updates to patients, physicians, and other therapists involved in the patient’s care.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure an exceptional continuum of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on a home exercise program that complements therapy sessions.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with new therapies.
• Promote health and wellness with community outreach during outdoor events.
