Job summary

SSM Health Oklahoma City is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat movement dysfunction and pain, developing and adjusting treatment plans with patient involvement. The role includes education, discharge planning, and supervising PT staff.

Requirements include a PT degree and licensure, BLS HCP within 90 days, and compliance with state boards across multiple locations. The position is full-time with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must hold a Physical Therapist license to practice in the relevant states (OK).
• Resuscitation Certification: BLS HCP required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care involving the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques.
• Provides education to patient/family and staff as needed.
• Coordinates discharge planning and follow-up care with care teams.
• Oversees activities of PT assistants, students and support staff.
• Maintains documentation detailing patient response to therapy and intervention needs.
• Adheres to safety and regulatory requirements.
