PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jupiter is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient team. The PTA will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and participate in planning and implementing individualized treatment programs.

Candidates should have a PTA license valid in Florida, current BLS certification, and preferably one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• PTA license in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for individual patients.
• Contribute to service development across PAM Health system.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The Physical Therapist Assistant will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Physical Therapist Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.

• Education and Training: PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
