Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications in our outpatient retail pharmacy. You will obtain patient information and insurance coverage required to process prescriptions and triage inbound phone calls.

This role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, and PA state registration by June 28, 2026. Minimum one year of experience and PA registered license are required; training pathways preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Trade School Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred.
• 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician Required.
• PA Registered Pharm Tech Required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications in outpatient retail pharmacy.
• Obtain patient information and insurance coverage required to process prescriptions.
• Triage inbound phone calls and redirect to appropriate staff.
• Must obtain Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration by June 28, 2026.
