Qualifications

• Six months of previous pharmacy experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for outpatient pharmacy with processing of prescription orders and dispensing of patient medications.
• Accept prescriptions, establish billing/patient charges, document allergies, and enter information into the computer system.
• Serve as call center agent; answer calls or direct to pharmacist or pharmacy administration.
• Prepare and package medications for outpatient use.
• Independently resolve online adjudication problems with third party payors.
• Replenish pharmacy stock and notify inventory coordinators of concerns.
