Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist to determine diagnoses and create comprehensive plans of care. You will implement treatment plans, supervise PT assistants, and ensure adherence to standards and insurance guidelines.

The role involves engaging with physicians to expand referrals and participate in ongoing clinical quality initiatives. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy and PT licensure are preferred, with pelvic patient experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy required/licensure as PT preferred.
• Pelvic patients experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
• Designs and implements treatment plan of care using practice standards, techniques, modalities and insurance guidelines.
• Oversees care provided by PT assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides per regulations and standards.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and practices to build referral relationships.
