Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a compassionate Pediatrician for an outpatient practice in California, caring for infants through adolescents. You will perform well-child exams, provide preventive care, immunizations, and address growth and development.

You will collaborate with families, schools, and specialists to ensure comprehensive pediatric care. The role requires a medical degree (MD/DO), pediatric residency, and valid CA license or eligibility, with DEA registration as applicable.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current DEA registration, as applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Family-centered approach to patient care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform well-child examinations and preventive care.
• Conduct school and sports physicals.
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, injuries, and acute conditions.
• Manage chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, eczema, and childhood obesity.
• Monitor growth, development, and age-appropriate screenings.
• Provide immunizations and family education.
• Address developmental and behavioral concerns and coordinate referrals.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, and community programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation using eClinicalWorks.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the expansion of pediatric services.
