Job summary

Compass Healthcare is seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology registered dietitian in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and outpatient education in a collaborative clinic environment to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Qualifications

• RDN or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain).
• Two years of work experience in a specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support wellness.
• Apply the latest research in alignment with diet manuals and facility protocols.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care.
• Partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction.
• Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

Skills

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible

Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain)

Two years of work experience in a specialty preferred
