Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring an outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Registered Dietitian for the Bangor, ME clinic. You will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and outpatient education to pediatric patients as part of a collaborative team, improving health outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

The role requires RDN or CDR eligibility, state licensure, and relevant certification with preference for 2 years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and outpatient education for pediatric patients in the Endocrinology clinic
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Apply evidence-based nutrition care aligned with department policies
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with food service to support patient satisfaction and outcomes
• Mentor dietetic staff and interns where applicable

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and outpatient education for patients in the Pediatric Outpatient Endocrinology clinic, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
