Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation in Fort Washington, MD is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Rehabilitation department. The role requires Maryland licensure, a PT degree, and preferably 1 year of rehab experience.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus (paid in installments) and a competitive pay range. This is a full-time, day-shift position with non-rotating shifts and opportunities for professional development within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active Maryland License.
• 1 year of Rehab experience preferred.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform an initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Provide, or direct and supervise, therapy interventions.
• Coordinate discharge planning with appropriate disciplines and follow-up.
• Document all aspects of patient management and communicate with care team.
• Supervise rehab aides, office assistants, and volunteers; manage caseload and schedules.
