The Physical Therapy Assistant will assist in planning and delivering treatment programs, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and may supervise support staff, under a physical therapist's direction. Florida PTA licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Preferred: 2 years treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Current Licensure as a Florida Physical Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, organization and implementation of specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of safe and competent physical therapy as ordered by a physician and under the direction of a physical therapist.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.
• May supervise work of support personnel.
