Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our Utah Valley team. The ideal candidate will have orthopedic specialization and may hold the OCS certification. The role focuses on advanced orthopedic care, evidence-based treatment, and patient-centered outcomes for a diverse population.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services and develop care plans.
• Evaluate and treat per professional standards (APTA) with referrals and physician input.
• Meet established productivity standards.
• Maintain thorough and timely patient records and billing.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about goals and needs.
• Supervise assistants, aides, office staff, and students to ensure high-quality care.
• Promote continuing education opportunities and participate in quality improvement processes.
• Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program.
