Job summary

Van Wert Physical Therapy in Van Wert, OH, seeks a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an outpatient orthopedic team. The role is 36 hours per week with no weekends or holidays, offering growth in a supportive clinic culture and meaningful patient care.

The PTA will implement treatment plans, guide exercises, and document progress under supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ohio PTA license or be eligible for licensure.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• New graduates must have license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under supervising PT.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor progress and report findings to the PT.
• Document treatments accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients on exercises, recovery, and injury prevention.
• Maintain a positive, professional clinic environment.
• Assist with clinic operations and teamwork as needed.
