SCARPELLI & ASSOCIATES PHYSICAL THERAPY, INC, a Castro District clinic in San Francisco, seeks a PT. New grads and experienced therapists are welcome. Expect one-on-one care, manual therapy, and a role as the community's first PT contact.
Opportunities to mentor, grow the practice, and contribute to advocacy are highlighted. Pay is $50.00–$70.00 per hour with part-time or full-time options and a schedule of 24–40 hours per week.
Part-Time or Full Time PT wanted!
For years Scarpelli & Associates has been a staple of San Francisco's vibrant Castro District, an LGBTQI+ community. Our best advertising is our patient success stories. We grow almost entirely through referrals. We are the physical therapy office that neighbors, physicians and clients refer friends, partners, patients and parents. Why? Because we tackle the hard-to-treat cases and stick with our patients until they fully resolve. The bottom line? In a city full of rushed visits, productivity goals, aide heavy clinics and burnt-out clinicians, people know they get real care here.
We're a small team and a community clinic; every patient is known by name. We’re looking for a PT to grow with us. We don't want a cog. We want a partner in evolving our business. Someone who is invested and brings their own ideas to contribute and support the community in providing outstanding physical therapy.
Our owner Dr. Cynthia Rose Koch, PT DPT OCS ERYT500, is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and pelvic health certified physical therapist, who also holds the highest registered yoga training certification. She's deeply involved in advocacy through the APTA and CPTA. You'll get real mentorship from someone who is shaping the future of the profession, not checking boxes for a corporate residency program. Elizabeth Scarpelli, PT, OCS, FAAOMPT is the founder of the company and is currently retired, however, she offers mentorship on complex cases on a monthly basis. Development is not only optional, but advised, and regular consult/mentorship is built into your workload.
Real work-life balance. We mean it.
No red tape and no layers of management. If you have an idea, whether it's a new program, a schedule that works better for your life, or a community workshop, we can make it happen next week instead of next fiscal year. You'll have a real stake in growing the clinic and the freedom to help shape it around the career you actually want. You will have ownership in your salary, and your values.
Scarpelli & Associates Physical Therapy is proudly LGBTQ-affirming. We welcome applicants of every identity, background, and lived experience. Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to support H1B visa holding applicants.
