Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a PRN? full-time RN in our Outpatient Oncology Clinic in Shawnee Mission, KS.

You will provide direct nursing care to adult oncology patients, perform assessments, administer chemotherapy and infusions, manage central lines, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management. Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and care teams to coordinate safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Oncology nursing experience required.
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult oncology patients in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and ongoing symptom management.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions per protocols.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and respond to emergencies.
• Manage central lines and ensure infusion safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and home care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR.
