Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in Georgia to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, GA RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification. BSN preferred with 2+ years RN experience and additional life support certifications beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
